More Than Property: Relationships Built Over the Years → Kean Ng

Today, I had a catch-up with Zant Goh, Business Development Manager at Advanced Law LLC, someone whom I’ve been working closely with for quite some time.

Our work crosses paths regularly, especially when it comes to property transactions and conveyancing matters, so it’s always good to catch up.

This time, Zant also surprised me with a box of mooncakes for the Mid-Autumn Festival. 🥮

A simple gesture, but one that I really appreciated.

Property Is a People Business

After being in real estate for many years, one thing I’ve come to appreciate is that this business is never just about buying and selling properties.

Behind every transaction, there are many people involved.

There are lawyers and conveyancing teams, bankers, mortgage specialists, valuers, contractors, fellow property agents and many others working behind the scenes.

As an agent, I may be the main person my clients communicate with, but I don’t work alone.

Over the years, I’ve built relationships with professionals whom I know I can reach out to when my clients need assistance or when something needs to be clarified.

Zant and the team at Advanced Law LLC are among the people I’ve had the opportunity to work with along the way.

It’s Not Just About Having Contacts

To me, having a network isn’t simply about having someone’s phone number.

It’s about relationships built through years of working together.

When you’ve worked with someone repeatedly, you understand how they work, communication becomes easier, and you know who to approach when something needs attention.

For my clients, they may not see much of what happens behind the scenes.

But sometimes, being able to make that extra call, check something quickly or connect with the right professional can help make the whole property journey smoother.

That’s a part of being a property agent that I don’t always talk about.

A Small Gesture, A Good Reminder

So today’s box of mooncakes means a little more to me than just a festive gift.

It reminded me of the relationships I’ve built throughout my years in this industry.

Some started from a single property transaction. Others have developed into working relationships that have lasted for years.

These are relationships I genuinely value.
